Thank EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson for protecting our children

EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson has unveiled the landmark Mercury and Air Toxics rule, which will reduce mercury, arsenic, acid gases, and other hazardous air pollution from America's oldest and dirtiest coal-fired power plants.

This is a historic achievement that has been 21 years in the making. Our children waited long enough for someone to take a stand and protect them from harmful air pollution, and now Administrator Jackson has delivered.

Fill out the form below to send a message thanking Administrator Jackson for standing up to big polluters and protecting the health of our children and families.

Dear Administrator Jackson,

Dominique Browning

A message from Dominique Browning, Co-Founder of Moms Clean Air Force

When I was raising two boys--and holding down a full time job--I didn’t think I had time to get involved in big policy issues. That was someone else’s job. But what I’ve been learning about the connection between air pollution and children’s health has been a wake-up call. Air pollution is an urgent issue.

The Environmental Protection Agency has proposed new standards for soot pollution, which has been linked to health problems such as heart attacks, stroke, and premature death.

I’ve been surprised to learn how much of a difference I can make with just a few minutes of effort. One click—one minute—and Washington officials will get a letter telling them you care about clean air.
