Tell Congress to defend clean air

The EPA's long-awaited Mercury and Air Toxics Standards are now under attack in Congress.

This rule will finally place a limit on the amount of mercury and other toxics that power plants can emit to our air, will save thousands of lives every year, and is essential to protect the health of our children.

However, polluter lobbyists and their allies in Congress
are using every tool they can to kill or weaken critical health protections.

Use the form below to urge your members of Congress to defend these vital regulations and fight for clean air.

Dear [Your Representative],

A message from Dominique Browning, Co-Founder of Moms Clean Air Force

When I was raising two boys--and holding down a full time job--I didn’t think I had time to get involved in big policy issues. That was someone else’s job. But what I’ve been learning about the connection between air pollution and children’s health has been a wake-up call. Air pollution is an urgent issue.

The Environmental Protection Agency has proposed new standards for soot pollution, which has been linked to health problems such as heart attacks, stroke, and premature death.

I’ve been surprised to learn how much of a difference I can make with just a few minutes of effort. One click—one minute—and Washington officials will get a letter telling them you care about clean air.
